<< No doubt in my mind that cognitive computing will impact every decision in five years >> Ginni Rometty, CEO IBM (2016)
In order to provide our services, we use the technologies, platforms & tools listed below: Data management (ETL), data analytics, data visualisation and artificial intelligence The Internet is a veritable treasure trove of information. It was data from the net that helped me in the conviction of Matej Curko and put me on the trail of the serial killer Bruce Mcarthur. The problem is that the data is scattered, in unstructured form and different formats, and often imprecise and contradictory. We are familiar with the automated processes of data integration (ETL*) based on Microsoft SQL Server to convert the data into an analytically usable form. The connections in the data are often anything but obvious. To identify them, we apply the statistical methods of data mining and use machine learning technologies to enable the systems to learn from experience and make future analyses even more precise. It is useless to have collected data completely and drawn the right conclusions from it if it is not presented in a way that is appropriate for the recipients. We know different tools for presentation. Especially we use Power BI from Microsoft for this purpose.
Cloud computing In recent years an important development is the emergence of cloud computing. With the help of this new tool, solutions such as our central data hub can be implemented, which would otherwise be difficult for start-up companies to implement due to the high up-front investment in IT infrastructure. The customer also benefits because he can scale resources according to his needs and thus save a lot of money. As a cloud platform we use Microsoft Azure, on which we offer our own developments as rentable software modules (SaaS**).
Tools We mainly use tools from Microsoft. These include at present:
SQL Server 2019 (including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS))
Visual Studio in the latest version (VS 2019)
.NET Core 3
Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Bricks
Power BI
Programming language C#
In addition, we also use tools from other manufacturers. These include:
Resharper (tool for improving the quality of the program code)
Infragistics (data visualisation)
Entity Developer from Devart (data modelling tool)
* Extract, Transform, Load ** Software as a service
Do you need expert knowledge in one of the technologies we use? Then don't hesitate to contact us. Due to the development at a remote location, we can make you a financially attractive offer.
